Venezuela: The wells run dry

Fabiola Ferrero has immersed herself in the unexplored realities of Venezuela, her homeland, tracking down the remnants of lost glory. In 2013, during the colossal economic and political upheaval that occurred in Venezuela, she left the country. She has returned to the symbolic places of that dreadful decline, to dig into the past, in search of a country that existed before the collapse. Ferrero is the twelfth winner of the Carmignac Photojournalism Award, thanks to which this work was made possible. The exhibition also marks the beginning of a collaboration between COTM and the Fondation Carmignac.
